Hello! This is Casey..I figured I needed to give everyone a little update on what is going on with Kell and Ava bear. Ava is still doing wonderful, they have increased her feedings to 24ml every 3 hours and she is still growing and weighs 2lbs 13oz! Almost 3lbs! The formula they have her on is high in calories so it is definitely helping "beef" her up :) Kelly was discharged home from the hospital on Friday. Her pain has been tolerable but she hasn't had an appetite and is basically just tired of being sick. They had to give her 2 liters of blood on Thursday but she is still feeling pretty weak. I'm sure everyone knows how being sick can really take a toll on you mentally, emotionally, and physically. She is just tired of feeling bad but understands that she needs to rest right now so that she can build up her strength in order to get better.
